TUNGSTEN STEEL
TUNGSTEN, a hard lustrous gray metallic element with a melting point of 3410C. It has the highest melting point in metals. It's name derived from the Swedish, means "heavy stone". It neither reacts to acid salts nor hydrochloric acid. It has high degree of hardness and shows no erosion to air at room temperture.
TUNGSTEN STEEL, a hard and heat-resistant tungsten alloy. It is used for high temperature engineering equipments, high speed cutting tools etc. Its hardness, anti-corrosive and lustrous characteristics make TUNGSTEN STEEL an ideal metal for high quality watch cases and bands. |
